About Hoyts Blacktown
Contact & About
Size certainly matters at this very popular shopping centre cinema, where you can witness basically every big release on an appropriately big screen. Located on the fourth floor of Westpoint, the main attraction of this Hoyts branch is the 28 metre wide Xtremescreen (that’s 2.5 times the size of a standard screen!).
With frosty air conditioning and reclining seats, you may just be at risk of falling asleep mid-movie if you’re seeking a cinematic escape on a hot summer day. Pleasing food and beverages could keep you awake a bit longer, though, with many frequent visitors commenting on the surprisingly reasonable prices for snack combos.
The cavernous black hallways and stadium seating can feel like you’ve bought tickets to hang out in an aircraft hanger. So if you’ve been meaning to catch that latest sci-fi blockbuster or Bollywood celebrity hit, this is the huge arena in which to see it.
Getting Here, Map & Parking
Parking at Westpoint may be hectic during the Christmas retail season and other heavy shopping periods, so take advantage of the centre’s huge parking lots by arriving a bit earlier.
Nearby Blacktown train station is along the Western, Cumberland, and Olympic Park lines. Many bus lines wind up at Westpoint Bus Interchange, with the Hoyts signage visible directly above Stand 7.
