To absolutely no one’s surprise, Star Trek Beyond has blasted off straight to #1 at the NZ Box Office with an opening just over the $5 million mark. Low budget horror Lights Out earns a respectable amount at #4 while Love and Friendship opens at a seemingly low #9 – however, its screen average grossing was the third best for the week (close to $8,000 per screen).
