A disabled man strives to achieve his dream of climbing a mountain in this short film from Gaylene Preston.
24-year-old aspiring climber Bruce Burgess, born with cerebral palsy, trains with legendary mountaineer Graeme Dingle to reach the summit of Mount Ruapehu. Narrated by David Yerix, the film won Special Jury Prizes in 1980 at the Banff Festival of Mountain Films and the Festival International du Film Alpine in Switzerland. With original music from Wayne Mason (The Fourmyula, The Warratahs).
