Instead of following in the footsteps of his winemaker father François (Lanvin), Charlie Maréchal (Lespert) left his Burgundy home to become a renowned Parisian wine critic and author. Since leaving, however, his indifferent and grief-stricken father has all but driven the family business to bankruptcy. Initially reluctant, Charlie returns to Burgundy to help to revive the ailing vineyard. Thrown into the deep end with no experience while under his father's skeptical gaze, Charlie must now prove that he is worthy of the land that has been passed down through his family for generations.
