In Another Country

Three separate dramas unfold in the Korean town Mohang, starring three different tourists all named Anne, all played by Isabelle Huppert (I ♥ Huckabees).

To distract herself from financial concerns, a young woman begins writing three different versions of a short film script featuring an elegant Frenchwoman who visits the seaside Mohang. In the first version Anne is a successful film director; in the second she is a married woman secretly in an affair with a Korean man; the third she is a divorcée whose husband left her for a Korean woman.
