Documentary following ten young offenders as they embark on a landmark programme to stage Shakespeare’s Macbeth before fellow inmates and families.
"Frank Baxter Juvenile Justice Centre accommodates males aged 16 to 21, around half of whom are Indigenous Australians. Many are from low socio-economic backgrounds, convicted of offences that include robbery, assault, and murder. Most arrive with minimal literacy and little formal schooling. The film explores life on the inside for these young men, including the emotional toll the programme takes on them, as they work towards a performance in front of the entire centre."
