'night Mother

Sissy Spacek and Anne Bancroft star in this drama based on the play by Marsha Norman. Jessie (Spacek) is a middle-aged epileptic unable to hold a job, with a failed marriage and a drug-addicted runaway son. She finds no reason to go on living and tells her mother (Bancroft) she will end her life before morning.
