Dark, expressionistic musical - with live action and animated sequences - based on Pink Floyd's 1979 album. Written by Floyd frontman Roger Waters, it depicts the construction and demolition of 'the wall' - a metaphor for alienation.

Pink (Bob Geldof) is a rock star who builds the wall as a barrier to distance himself from fame and failed personal relationships. Descending deeper into despair and madness, Pink attempts to isolate himself from the world entirely.
