Infamous New Zealand and Australian TV host Paul Henry stars in this meta-documentary, the filmmaking debut from former New York Times journalist Andrew Goldman. The story follows Henry who, after begin banished from New Zealand TV screens, attempts to start a career in America. Co-stars Ron Jeremy, Richard Simmons and Fred Stoller.

"This is the absolutely true story of Andrew Goldman, a New York Times journalist who makes a short film about an outrageous New Zealand talk show host named Paul Henry. In the process, Goldman’s life and career implodes before his very eyes. The New York Times fires him for asking impolite questions of celebrities, the buffoonish Paul Henry drags him into the gutter of Hollywood talent management, and the damn studio prop desk that Henry insisted on importing just won’t go away. His life in shambles but, convinced there is deeper story amid the debris, Goldman assembles his pile of misery into art. He merges his fictional film (in which an actor plays Goldman) with behind-the-scenes footage, real documentary segments, reenactments of ethically challenged editorial events at the Times, and the ongoing lunacy of Paul Henry’s quest to host anything on American TV."
