The Finishers

French sports drama, the story of a father who teams with his wheelchair-bound son to conquer the grueling gauntlet of an Ironman Triathlon. Shot on location at the 2012 edition of Ironman France, from veteran documentarian Nils Tavernier (Aurore).

Teenage Julien  (Fabien Héraud) has a strained relationship with his father Paul (Jacques Gamblin), who resents the congenital palsy that has led Julien to spend his life in a wheelchair. When Julien challenges his dad to take part in a triathlon, Paul refuses to take him seriously - until his son proves his determination to take part and the pair begin to train and, in the process, develop a deeper bond.
