Disgraced former Secret Service agent Joe Hallenbeck (Willis) now works as a down-on-his luck private investigator whose wife is sleeping with his best friend Mike. Before a car bomb takes Mike out of the picture he tasks Hallenbeck with protecting a stripper (Halle Berry), who has unwittingly stumbled upon a betting scandal. Hallenbeck teams up with her boyfriend (Wayans) - himself shamed out of his previous career as a professional football player - to get to the bottom of the sordid mess in this expletive- and wisecrack-packed classic.
