Volcano (2021)

In this comedy drama, a series of odd coincidences leaves Lukas, an interpreter for a military checkpoint inspection tour, stranded, his colleagues vanished, near a small southern town in Ukraine.

As an involuntary guest of his strange host Vova, Lukas is confronted with a totally new reality, one in which life seems to be completely detached from any kind of structure. Despite his initial hesitancy, Lukas becomes increasingly fascinated by Vova and his daughter Marushka - and finally starts his own quest for long-lost happiness.
