How to watch Deadloch in Australia
From award-winning comedy duo Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan comes a new comedy series that skewers that very particular stripe of grim, small town murder mystery that’s been clogging up our screens these past several years. Satirical crime comedy Deadloch is now streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes dropping each Friday.
When a man is murdered in the titular tiny Tasmanian town of Deadloch, local copper Dulcie Collins (Kate Box of Wentworth and Rake) is out of her depth, the local criminal element normally not aspiring to anything as OTT as homicide. Along with local plods Abby Matsuda (Nina Oyama) and Sven Alderman(Tom Ballard), they dig into the dirty deed, only for more bodies to start cropping up…

Deadloch marks their first foray into longform, scripted narrative comedy, and we’re keen for it.

At least Deadloch will be good for a laugh! We don’t think Eric Bana cracked a single joke in The Dry…
