Reading Cinemas has announced that a brand spankin’ new complex will open in the Melbourne suburb of Burwood this year.
Reading Cinemas Burwood Brickworks will be a six screen complex positioned on the ground level of Burwood Bricksworks shopping centre.
The company has announced that the venue will “showcase the gold standard in Australian cinema.” We’re hoping that one day this will mean free foot rubs and cotton candy for all.
Until then, cinemagoers will have to settle for (the horror!) creature comforts such as reclining seats in all auditoriums.
“We are excited to partner with Frasers Property to bring our most advanced cinema complex ever to the inner city of Melbourne,” said Mark Douglas, Reading Cinemas Australia’s Managing Director.
“We look forward to building on Reading’s long association with the Burwood site to provide a theatrical experience for guests that is of a world class standard.”
Reading Cinemas Burwood Brickworks will open late in 2019.
