Australian box office report: in its 9th week, the mighty Shang-Chi is still thrashing the competition
With all cinemas now allowed to open, Australia’s box office is up over 70% on last week’s total.
The mighty Shang-Chi took the top spot once again, dominating the competition in its ninth week—bringing its cumulative total to $15.68 million. Its reign will likely come to an end, with new Marvel blockbuster Eternals now in cinemas.
Halloween Kills came runners up (taking $1.63 million) The Last Duel came third (taking $905k).
