Australian box office report: Bullet Train says “Nope” to Jordan Peele’s latest
Brad Pitt’s action flick abducted Jordan Peele’s latest feature the chance of landing the top spot at the Australian box office. It was a close battle, though: Bullet Train earned $2.32 million in its second week, narrowly beating Nope‘s opening week total of $2.21 million.
Meanwhile, quiet achiever Where The Crawdads Sing pulled in another handsome million in its fourth week while loud achiever Top Gun: Maverick is still earning big bucks months after its release.
Laal Singh Chaddha, the Indian remake of Forrest Gump, also landed some respectable business. Opening at #5, the film came $30,000 shy of snagging a million in its opening week but hurdled MCU blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder, which has dropped to sixth place. Movie box office results, eh?
