The success of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is no secret, the blockbuster sequel gobbling up $7.35 million in its first week and landing at the top of the Australian box office.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 took position #2 in week two (a trifecta of twos), grossing $5.26 million to bring its cumulative total to $9.74 million. The Bad Guys created mischief in third place with $3.47, bringing it total to $9.74 million.
