Daredevil: Born Again trailer and release date – Australia

And so we return to the mean streets of Hell’s Kitchen for the further adventures of sight-impaired legal eagle Matthew Murdock and his vigilante alter ego, Daredevil.

When is Daredevil: Born Again season 1 being released in Australia?

Daredevil: Born Again is streaming in Australia exclusively on Disney+ from March 4, 2205.

What is Daredevil: Born Again season 1 about?

Following on from the brilliant, hard-hitting Daredevil series that ran for three seasons on Netflix (and is now available on Disney+) this series sees our hero once again clashing with crime boss Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, who’s running for mayor of New York City. And that’s your lot in terms of plot details. We do know that, although the show takes its title from the iconic, character-defining storyline by writer Frank Miller and artist Dave Mazzucchelli in the Marvel comics back in 1986, it’s not a straight adaptation. Which makes sense, given that so many elements from that material have already been used in the preceding seasons.

The cast of Daredevil: Born Again season 1

Returning faces include Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil; Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin; Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Murdock’s best mate and law firm wingman; Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, reporter turned partner at Nelson, Murdock & Page; Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk, Fisk’s wife; Jon Bernthal as murderous vigilante Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, and can we get a hell yeah!; and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, who they should really just let be Bullseye this time out.

Newcomers (although not necessarily new to the MCU) include Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, and Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan, Ms Marvel’s dad.

Why we’re excited about Daredevil: Born Again season 1

C’mon, haven’t you missed The Man Without Fear? The Netflix series remains a high watermark for Marvel’s small screen endeavours. We’re hopeful they manage to keep up the quality.
