Edgar Wright calls Mad Max: Fury Road the greatest action movie ever made
The beloved director Edgar Wright has delivered his verdict on the greatest action movie ever made. And – WITNESS – the winner is Mad Max: Fury Road.
Wright, the director of classics such as Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World and Baby Driver, tweeted his praise on the weekend after testing out a new home projector.
“I can confirm the results,” he wrote. “Mad Max Fury Road is still the greatest action film of all time.”
I had to test out a new home projector with a BluRay and I can confirm the results. ‘Mad Max Fury Road’ is still the best action film of all time.

Fury Road was of course directed by George Miller, and is the fourth installment in the most famous film franchise in Australian history.
The hugely acclaimed, batshit crazy dystopian epic has received a hell of a lot of accolades since first roaring into cinemas in 2015.
One of them, which of course is much more meaningful than any of the film’s six Academy Awards, is being determined as the greatest Australian film made so far this century, according to a poll of critics conducted last year by Flicks.
