This school holidays Event Cinemas will accompany screenings of highly anticipated family films with free artsy activities held in cinema foyers. Sessions of Incredibles 2, Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will have an art and crafts component designed to add an extra layer of fun for kids.
Young’uns will be able to participate in activities themed around the different movies. They will design a monster cruise liner (Hotel Transylvania 3), draw their family as superheroes (Incredibles 2), create a Jurassic Park ranger pass (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) and other initiatives, including making their own superhero or monster masks.
These activities will run during the school holidays, in every state and territory other than Victoria. Here are the national school holiday dates:
QLD/WA: June 30 – July 15
NSW/SA/ACT: July 7 – July 22
NT: June 30 – July 23
