Finding Nemo Sequel Set for 2015 Release
Disney-Pixar has dropped a release date for much talked about Finding Nemo sequel – entitled Finding Dory – set one year after the original. As you’d expect, the movie focuses heavily on the forgetful fish as it looks to delve more into her back story.
“One thing we couldn’t stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin,” says animation-directing deity Andrew Stanton, “In Finding Dory, she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way.”
Pixar have had a hit and miss record with the few sequels they’ve done (as well as a prequel that has yet to prove itself) and I preached my love for the original to the movie heavens above, so I’ve been conflicted over the idea of returning to this underwater world. However, as long as Mater’s not in it, I’ll keep my hopes up.
