If you’re a Foxtel subscriber, a cheap babysitter is on the way for this school holidays. The cable television company will launch a pop-up channel for kids, screening back-to-back animated movies from Saturday July 7 to Sunday July 15.
Subscribers to Foxtel Movies and Foxtel Platinum will be tempted to do what any responsible parent would, which is plonk their children in front of the tube and leave them unattended for days on end.
The Animation Pop-Up Movie Channel will showcase a range of films and characters including Smurfs, Trolls, Penguins, Emojis, Lego, Minions, Dr Zeuss, Captain Underpants, The Boss Baby, Gnomeo & Juliet and Batman.
We’re assuming that Team America: World Police will not be on the program. But hey, stranger things have happened.
