How the internet reacted to news that a new Child’s Play and Toy Story movie will open on the same day
It is safe to assume that Chucky, the knife-wielding psycho toy doll possessed by the soul of a serial killer, has a hard time making friends. And his latest act of bastardry will make it even harder.
The producers of the upcoming Child’s Play reboot have decided that the best date to premiere their new, presumably very violent film is 21 June 2019.
That it the same day another, presumably somewhat less violent film about toys will also arrive in American cinemas. That film is called Toy Story 4 – marking the return of Woody, Buzz and the gang.
The way the team for Child’s Play announced this news is also very creepy. They made the announcement on Twitter, with the following tweet:
