What is Colin from Accounts season 2 about?
Season one saw Gen X-er Gordon and Gen Y-er Ashley navigate a nascent relationship after a meet-cuter involving a quick flash of nipple, a car accident, and an injured dog (that’s the Colin of the title, folks). After eight episodes that roped in her family, his mates, and all the usual fraught but fun stuff that accompanies a new relationship, they called it quits and (mild spoiler, but it’s in the trailer) rehomed little Colin.
Good thing we got a second season, though, which kicks off with the pair trying to get Colin back. And so, we proceed from there.
The cast of Colin from Accounts season 2
Harriet Dyer (Love Child) and Patrick Brammall (Offspring) are Ashley and Gordon, respectively, and the real-life couple also created the series. Helen Thomson is Ashley’s mum, Lyn, with comedic MVP Darren Gilshenan as her pertner, Lee; Michael Logo is Gordon’s derro best mate, Brett; while Genevieve Hegney, Emma Harvie, Virginia Gay, Celeste Barber, John Howard and Justin Rosniak are also in the mix this season.
Oh, and Colin is played by Zak.

Why we’re excited about Colin from Accounts season 2
Look, it’s charming, funny, and actually feels emotionally real, plus the chemistry between the two leads is incredible, which is understandable given their real-life relationship. Plus, the whole thing is set in Sydney’s Inner West, so if you’re a local you’ll enjoy spotting familiar landmarks.
