But in case you’re a little more detail-oriented, here’s the official synopsis courtesy of Netflix: “After missing her flight from New York to London, Hadley (Haley Lu Richardson) meets Oliver (Ben Hardy) in a chance encounter at the airport that sparks an instant connection. A long night on the plane together passes in the blink of an eye but upon landing at Heathrow, the pair are separated and finding each other in the chaos seems impossible. Will fate intervene to transform these seat mates into soul mates?”
So, love, luck, fate, and destiny, all in a neat little rom-com package with two ridiculously charismatic stars? Sounds good.
The cast of Love at First Sight
In addition to Haley Lu Richardson as Hadley and Ben Hardy as Oliver (oh, Oliver Hardy, that’s funny) the cast includes Rob Delaney, Sally Phillips, Dexter Fletcher (who directed Hardy in Bohemian Rhapsody), David Ruby, and Jameela Jamil. Behind the camera, Vanessa Caswill is on directing duties, while screenwriter Katie Lovejoy adapted the novel.
