Created by Joseph Bennett and Charles Huettner, the 12 episode animated series is based on the duo’s 2016 short film Scavengers. Seems a bit Avatar-adjacent, doesn’t it? It’s essentially a survival drama in a weird alien environment, with the striking animation giving us a palpable sense of the otherworldly.
