How to watch season 3 of super-teen team-up Titans in Australia
What do you get when you bring together an alien, a half-demon, a shapeshifter and Batman’s Robin in retirement? That’s the original make-up of the Titans, DC’s comic-book adaptation focusing on a team of troubled young adult heroes facing evil.
After two seasons and a whole new slate of super-powered arrivals added to the gang, the big question is: when Titans season three arrive on Australian shores?
Sadly, no local release date has been confirmed yet; we’ll update this page as soon as we find out. Our best bet is that it will end up on Netflix, given this is the home of the first two seasons.
Aussie actor Brenton Thwaites returns as Dick Grayson, the group’s reluctant leader and a former protégé of Batman. Embittered by Gotham’s corruption and his work for “psychopath” Bruce Wayne, only the promise of long-lasting justice amongst a powerful team of youngsters can force Dick out of the shadows. Here’s the season’s trailer, with some tantalising hints at Vincent Kartheiser’s imprisoned Scarecrow.
Since this is a Greg Berlanti/Arrowverse-connected series, you can be sure that we’ll only get more and more cameos and new roles from DC’s well of B and C list super-powered characters. This season, Dick’s successor as Robin goes rogue, turning into the villainous Red Hood by slapping on that, well, red hood and intoning in the trailer above: “Gotham—it’s mine now.”
Welcome to the Hood. Jason Todd returns as the Red Hood in season 3 of Titans.
