Matthew McConaughey confirmed to the Star Tribune that he will be in Christopher Nolan’s next film, Interstellar. Little else is known about the film beyond McConaughey’s involvement, but that’s pretty typical given Nolan’s blood-oath to secrecy over his projects.
Two years ago, this probably would have been iffy news. But with Magic Mike, Bernie and Killer Joe, he’s gone from wooden-plank-with-a-six-pack to awesomeness-in-a-cowboy-hat, making this rather exciting. According to early word from SXSW, the ‘hey train continues to role (sic) with another superb performance in Jeff Nichols’ Mud.
