No wait, we really do have news about dirt cheap movie tickets. Melbourne’s Lido Cinemas, located on Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn, is celebrating its third birthday by offering $5 tickets all day on Sunday August 5.
This was our response.
Films playing at the Lido that day include Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Breakerer Upperers, Whitney, Dr. Knock, Incredibles 2 and Funny Cow.
The Lido opened its doors in 2015, claiming it brought “a stylish new addition to Melbourne’s flourishing cinema scene.” The cinema offers an eclectic program, combining new blockbusters, retrospective screenings and a cult program such as ‘Weird Wednesdays’.
