Watch the 2016 BAFTA Acceptance Speeches (+ Full List of Winners)

Alejandro Iñárritu’s survival epic The Revenant has smashed the British Academy Awards – taking best film, director, actor, sound and cinematography categories.

Mad Max: Fury Road took four technical categories. Otherwise, awards were pretty evenly spread.

After this haul, and after also sweeping the Golden Globes, The Revenant has well and truly cemented its place as odds-on favourite to take out Oscar glory later this month.
