This week the beloved Australian comedy Malcolm is available to stream on Ozflix for free. Ozflix, a streaming platform dedicated entirely to Australian films, has announced that the 1986 classic is its ‘Free Movie of the Week’.
Malcolm stars Colin Friels as a shy mechanical genius, who is obsessed with trams and builds a range of kooky contraptions. His most famous machine is a brilliant getaway car that splits in two.
This awesome vehicle is used in the film’s finale, when Malcolm and his housemate Frank (John Hargreaves) rob a bank. As anybody who has seen the film will remember, they rob it via remote controlled robots disguised as rubbish bins. Brilliant!
