The trailers for Venom contain several insane-looking moments. But so far the marketing people have kept their cards close to their chest when it comes to showing the (anti)hero himself in full-blown action.
That has changed with the release of a new 30 second preview clip that shows Venom taking on a group of SWAT officers.
It begins with Tom Hardy raising his arms in the air and saying to the SWAT members “you do not want to do this, trust me.”
Those fools don’t heed his warning and pay for the consequences. Hardy transforms into Venom and completely kicks their arse, jumping around and throwing the men through the air like little balls of fluff.
The clip provides a pretty good taste of what to expect when it comes to how Venom will behave in action. Check out the clip below.
The film will soon be upon us, arriving in cinemas October 4.
