Weekend box office: Us defeats Dumbo and Captain Marvel
Jordan Peele’s gnarly horror movie Us took the top spot in its opening weekend, grossing $3.84 million. Dumbo opened in second place, with $2.75 million, and Captain Marvel is still going strong in its fourth week, adding $2.28 million to its kitty.
