Wellington’s ‘The World’s End’ Premiere Details; Cumberbatch showering and more

In case you didn’t catch Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright’s tweet last week, Paramount Pictures NZ are super duper pleased to announce that Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman and Edgar Wright will attend the New Zealand premiere of The World’s End in Wellington. Their legion of Kiwi fans will get the chance to swarm the Red Carpet event with Cornettos in hand.

Or Trumpets. ‘Cause you can’t beat a Trumpet.

‘TimeCop’ Hops to the Left…

…and takes a step to the right side of getting a remake.

The Hollywood Reporter, erm, reports that Universal is remaking the 1994 time-travelling, crime-solving, leg-splitting actioner. It is currently on the hunt for writers to re-imagine the concept. JCVD will not be involved.


Cumberbatch takes a menacing shower in ‘Star Trek’ Deleted Scene

Talking to late night talkshow host Conan, J.J. Abrams showed off a deleted scene in Star Trek Into Darkness of Benedict Cumberbatch taking a shower. A very angry shower.

The sort-of-response to Alice Eve’s controversial baring doesn’t really add much to the movie, but then again, neither did Eve’s scene.
