Where can I watch the Toy Story movies in Australia?
You’ve got a friend in Disney+ if you want to marathon Buzz and Woody’s adventures.

Every kid has imagined that their toys have a vibrant inner life when nobody’s looking. But only Pixar was clever enough to animate that idea, and to then spin it into four beloved films.
Disney+ is the only place in Australia to stream every Toy Story movie, and it only gets better from there. Seventeen shorts featuring the Toy Story gang are also available to watch, many starring the adorable plastic abomination known as Forky.
The first Toy Story film premiered in 1995, Pixar’s first feature film and in fact the first entirely computer-animated film. It introduced us to old-fashioned cowboy doll Woody (Tom Hanks) and his rival, the slick new toy of the year Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen).
Of course the pair were good buddies by the time Toy Story 2 came around, introducing new friends Jessie (Joan Cusack) and Woody’s trusty steed Bullseye into the mix. But there’s a version of events in which we never got to enjoy the celebrated sequel! The entirety of the film’s developed files were accidentally deleted—twice!—and would’ve been totally lost if it weren’t for a pregnant supervising technical director who had a backup copy to work on from home.
Even the more recent third and fourth movies were huge hits, showing that new generations of Toy Story fans love the animated playthings as much as their parents do.
Toy Story 4 created the character of Forky (Tony Hale) who now hosts his own illuminating short series on Disney+: each episode asks a vital existential question such as “what is love” or “what is cheese”. Probing stuff.
