It’s official—Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is coming to Australian cinemas on October 13. Tickets are on sale from today—see here for times and cinemas near you (more sessions will be added over the coming hours and days).
Distraught Australian Swifties who have missed out on the 3 Melbourne and 4 Sydney concerts (all sold out), can now get themselves to the cinematic version. Since the film will be out first in cinemas, ticket holders will need to decide if they see the movie before the real thing.
This film documents the Eras Tour, Swift’s ongoing 2023-2024 series of concerts—146 dates across five continents—which has turned into a cultural phenomenon thanks to outrageous ticket sales and rabid fans. The tour is predicted to be the highest grossing ever, reaching an estimated $US 1 billion in revenue.
The documentary was filmed over three performances at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
