Where to watch the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Australia

Sport’s biggest stage in 2022 is the FIFA World Cup – the 22nd edition – in Qatar. It’s 64 games begin November 21st and ends with the final on December 19th. See below for a schedule of all games and where to stream them in Australia.

Usually, the World Cup is played mid-year, but Qatar is hot as hell that time of year hence the late start. It will be played across 8 state-of-the-art stadiums, with capacities ranging from 40,000 to 80,000 – some with specially designed cooling systems aimed at reducing temperatures by up to 20 degrees.

What time of day are the games?

You’re better placed on AWST – with some 6pm and 9pm starts, but they can be as late as 3am. Start times on AEST are less forgiving, ranging from 9pm right through to 6am. The final on December 19 is 11pm on AWST and a salty 2am on AEST. See below for each match’s start time.
