A young underachiever, Eliza (Milana Vayntrub), starts a new job working remotely. Her unhappy boss, Kyle (Ken Jeong, Community), requires his employees to interact virtually all day, thus ensuring his staff's cohesion and productivity. Despite some awkward encounters, Eliza unexpectedly makes new friends among her quirky coworkers, meets a potential love interest and finds some direction in life.
