A con artist named Joe mistakenly kills his father Mike during a sting operation. Joe turns to his father’s twin and fellow con artist Lou for help but when Lou’s schemes become increasingly dangerous Joe decides he wants out of the game.

The "sematary" is up to its old zombie-raising tricks again. This time, the protagonists are Jeff Matthews, whose mother died in a Hollywood stage accident, and Drew Gilbert, a boy coping with an abusive stepfather.

Our two idiot slacker heroes (Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter) return in this sequel, this time battling a tyrant from the future who has created evil android doubles of the pair.
