Three-part documentary series, the first original commission by streaming service DocPlay, follows the elite Lidl-Trek women’s cycling team, which includes Australian Olympian and national champion Amanda Spratt, as they prepare for and race the Tour de France Femmes.

After a disappointing debut in the 2022 Tour De France Femmes, the Lidl-Trek team are back for redemption. Made over two years, with a combination of observational footage, archives and master interviews, this dramatic three-part documentary series follows up-close a team of elite female cyclists as they train, race, fall, hope and triumph in a world traditionally dominated by their male counterparts. With a backstage pass to some of the team’s top riders and their formidable leader, we ride the rollercoaster of emotions of elite cycling and witness the reality of the women’s WorldTour.

In Stage 5's heat, Lidl-Trek's attacks fail, and an exhausted Balsamo finishes last.

Amanda Spratt, recalling her crash in 2022, now carries the team's hopes on the iconic Tourmalet stage. Despite being distanced by leaders, Spratt completes the grueling stage, signifying triumph over adversity. In the final stage, a time trial, the team reflects on their resilience despite not achieving their goals. Demi Vollering of Team SD Worx wins overall, but Lidl-Trek looks ahead with lessons learned.
