Day One

Self-destructive musician Lucky hasn't spoken to his family in years,... More but he packs up his battered old piano for a 4,000-mile road trip across Australia when he hears his estranged mother is dying.

Lucky struggles without his anxiety medication. While waiting for a... More chemist to open in Port Agusta, Meg picks a fight with bikers at the pub.

Day Three

Meg is beside herself when she loses all of her's... More and Lucky's money. To make matters worse, they then run out of petrol.

Day Four

Waiting for their ute to be repaired, Meg and Lucky... More join a campground party on the Great Australian Bight, but the night takes a nasty turn when Lucky discovers a suicide note.

Lucky starts to think he should give up when Meg... More takes off with his piano. Then, a snakebite gives him the wake-up call he needs.
